Andrew Colquhoun biography

Andrew Colquhoun was appointed as a non-excutive director of OHPA for four years from November 2009. He is chairman of the Investigation Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a number of non-executive positions in the field of horticulture and the environment. He is also a practising counsellor.

After graduating in 1971 with first class honours, Andrew furthered  his qualifications by going on to complete a PhD in Biological Science and an MBA. Andrew has spent his working career within public service intuitions holding many senior positions including chief executive of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, director general of the RHS and director of Education and Training. Currently, Andrew is chairman of ICAEW, SEEDA Horticulture Working Group, National Horticulture Forum and non executive director of Natural Environment Research Council.
